Okay y’all! I made a google form testing the waters for a little creative woodworking class led by me 😊 This is gonna be fun and loose and experimental and ultimately YOURS! Think art class meets shop class meets irreverent meditation instruction 🙏🏻 Classes will be small (2-3 people) partly because we’ll be doing it in my tiny home shop, and partly because 1 on 1 time is essential for my style of teaching as well as safety!

Harvested a small piece of driftwood to carve. First time directly carving with no sketch or plan, just going in with the intention of creating something beautiful while listening to the wood closely, patiently waiting for it to tell me how it wanted to look. The result is a conversation between my gestural desires and the wood’s desire to be alive and move, after all it lived a part of its life at sea!

Designing two stages on a minimal budget was a challenge but not unfamiliar territory, the ingredient we could never account for was the magic everyone who came brought with them! Unreal ya’ll.
Oak record holder for the one and only @succubass This one is designed to hold 20-25 records when you’re putting together a set or just mixing at home. I also made a shim so it can be used as a now playing record sleeve stand.

After carefully conducting research on the pulsing glow-frequency that is being emitted from the tectonic Pacific plate. The contact crew has officially intercepted a transmission in the form of an audio reactive current. Our head visual-ocular consultant, @mrrfskrrt , has studied the current and with careful manipulation was able transmute the message into video format so that our human eyes may monitor the pulse images.
Next Saturday, March 28th, we invite you to observe the findings to help us further decipher this strange glow.
