Join me in a moment of peace with eyes closed and a hand on your heart to recognize the life of a unique spirit that graced us and continues to grace us with her presence. Rachel Rose, the experience of knowing you in various forms past and present will forever remain a gift; one that is surely deep in our hearts. Happy Birthday to you and "may the force, the fourth, the forest be with us." If you lost someone recently or maybe a some time ago, I want to remind you that your relationship has not ended. In many ways I believe it has in fact only just begun. With the right kind of light we're able to see so much more. As the hand is released from a clenched heart, raise it in the air and send love to all.

A special unexpected moment from last night when I held a record in front of the projector which was casting images of old home videos on VHS from behind. These clips were recently sent to me from my mother. Hearing my laugh as a 3 year old did more than one thing to my soul but really I was shown the inner child I've been fighting to protect all these years. There he was in plain sight and the experience reinvigorated my spirit. As I think deeply into consciousness and feeling for what I'm supposed to do next in life, I found the absolute need to look back at where I come from—we all could from time to time. "In order to know where we're going, we have to remember where we've been." I didn't really know what to expect from combining nostalgic music with visual memories. What happened as a result really made me connect some dots that needed to be connected. Following the music has always seemed to guide the way. Why am I surprised? So I'm over here feeling it all. I hope wherever this finds you that you are you, too. And never forget that younger version of ourselves. They're counting on us, right there alongside of our ancestors and loved ones we lost. Keep going. They got our backs. — Oh, and most importantly... I love you, mom. P.S. never forget where your belly button is! For those curious, the record I happen to be holding is by @discoveryz0ne — which contains music that naturally instills curiosity and wonder. Give her a listen! Songs in videos by @ultraflexband + Glüme + Com Truise Thanks to @favoriteneighbors for hosting; @casual_decay for projecting and these magical clips by @loganhenry8 ✨💫✨ I'll be cherishing these moments.

Here's a time lapse from the Vertical at Meadows today as the winter season comes to fruition. Emotions coming from consumers who may be a bit stringent for optimal conditions are starting to subside but honestly my minds on the water supply for farmlands fed from the snowpack and an impending injury prone wildfire season. February, please continue to snow for the sake of our natural processes to prevail despite the ignorance of humankind.

Honored to be supporting @weval_ from the Netherlands and local artist, @lowbeams_music , at Holocene next week. I'm feeling ready to sweat it out, again. This will be my first time supporting a single show through both music and photography—and as a neighbor on the dance floor. A unique alignment reminding me of how the conscious decision to invite music to be our guide fosters more opportunities to connect with ourselves, others and the world around us. I try to be here for it as much as I can while I'm able because it all feels so fleeting. To be here now has never felt more potent. [Photos from a few moments in 2026 so far; thanks to @stellahsam for capturing some magic from a little birthday celebration and @tender.kin for these vivid memories from Twirl in January. I'll def treasure these as little souvenirs: evidence from the dream state].

Over here mourning the existence of greed. Note: To the "leaders" of this country, which I'm sure you'll never read, we already have enough and definitely already have done enough [harm]. Please start expanding different boundaries of your golfball sized consciousness and capacities of things that exist beyond your own understanding. Instead, you're pursuing additional "property" ignorantly attempting to increase your capital and boost expired egos, as if it was ever your land anyway. Also, just a little reminder for us adults, anyone who says, "I know more about _____ than anyone," is automatically the least humble person in the room. And in my opinion, if this world is to get anywhere closer to better shape, it's going to start with being humbled. If the president's favorite book is the Bible, he should know that our land will be healed when our people become humbled and it's, "how the meek shall inherit the earth." But nah. Get real. Thanks to @madisonhamburg for the portrait in this space that has taught me so much, so far.

Life's wild. Hope you're taking care of yourself. Lord knows I'm tryin. I like reaching out to someone we love during these times. Check in with others as you would check in with yourself. Y'heard? But yeah. Thinking and feeling a lot must mean we're in touch, which for that reason alone I am grateful. Cause idk how some people go through life without knowing love. But may we always be able to turn to music for solace. — One of my favorite songs by Placebo says, "...a heart that hurts is a heart that works." At least we got that going for us. Sooo I'll be over here finding little moments of joy to giggle at, even if it's turning on a light while playing my synth. Also, I hope to see you and our chosen family in Portland at Star Theater for Twirl this weekend. I'm excited to DJ one last time before turning 35 yrs old this month. 1/17 @ 9pm 🧊❤️‍🔥🧊

Looking at a new employee of Mt Hood Meadows in the window reflection during orientation last week. It's been a couple seasons since riding so it'll be good to get up there again as a part timer. If you're in the area or want to visit, feel free to reach out if you'd like to join me! 💫

Short Story: As I was thinking to myself about birds on a hike the other day, I remembered this encounter with a bald eagle I had on a camping trip recently. Right then and there as I was thinking about this particular eagle—BOOM! There was another one 10ft in front of me, with wings spread wide. Mystified. How the? Once again a fortuitous opportunity to connect with nature. Shortly after, I had plans to go to the antique store. Lo and behold there was this gem of an eagle sculpture sitting right out front. It felt equal parts extra and necessary. Given the steal of a price, I had to bring it home; hoping it reminds me to keep a reverence for these mysterious connections to the world around us, especially the ones we've yet to know or will ever see. Until discovering more of whatever else life unveils, I'll be placing trust in my handy new spirit guide.

A polaroid of Erin and I standing where he and Rachel once stood during their last time to France. We felt her presence while we reminisced and created new memories simultaneously. From belly laughs to tears, so glad I could join him on this meaningful journey, retracing their footsteps. [I'll never forget our time there nor our friendship and what it means to me buddy. Love ya like a brother @irishspicoli ].

[Poem by Joey Wiltse - Images by Drew Cornwall] I’m making coffee as the sirens start,  the helicopter whirring above my house circling the protestors a few blocks from my house. Trump wants a battle and is receiving absurdity, theatrics, frog suits and tea parties, gestapo pointing snipers at E-Girls they jerk off to, repressed people repressing others to feel less repressed, oh god what a mess Expulsion, rejection,  Knee jerk reactions  Reptiles being led by reptiles to try and kill what remains of the human spirit in this god forsaken country, the king and the court jester call the shots and despite everything Trump says being hilarious the consequences are anything but funny IS THIS IT?  IS THIS HOW THIS COUNTRY FALLS?  This place has always been ravaged by old rotting pale white men, jaundiced yellow eyed bald fucks stalking the halls of our lives, only ghouls can rule a haunted land, a country built by slaves on the bones of its ancestors.  Why is always the innocents who foot the bill?  Have I ever truly had free will?  Freedom is very expensive in the land of the free and the evil men in power only get more brave Depraved  A really close shave  I’m not sure how many more ways I can say  If we don’t rise up now there will be nothing left to say  And no one left standing to say it.

Almost exactly 8 years ago to the day, I made this portrait of a person walking down the street during golden hour in Austin, Texas. These were discovered as I'm sorting through old memory cards and hard drives. What are the odds? Timing feels right, too, as many of our Latino citizens are being disrespected. It feels like a good way to show respect that's due. Although I may have forgotten about these photos, I may never forget this persons spirit. Something instantly called me in to capture his presence. This much I know.
