BLACK MUSIC HISTORY CONTINUES TO BE WRITTEN IN ATLANTA
The Black Music & Entertainment Walk of Fame (BMEWOF) is set to honor another legendary class of cultural icons during Black Music Month 2026.
Taking place Monday, June 1, 2026, in historic downtown Atlanta, the Crown Jewel of Excellence Induction Ceremony will celebrate trailblazers whose impact on music, entertainment, leadership, and culture continues to influence generations worldwide.

⨠Jack the Rapper
Founded by Catherine Brewton, Demmette Guidry, and Michael T. Mauldin through a joint initiative of the Black American Music Association and Black American Music Foundation, the BMEWOF has become one of the most important institutions dedicated to preserving Black excellence and cultural legacy.
Located adjacent to Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, the Walk of Fame permanently honors the visionaries, artists, executives, and pioneers who shaped global culture through music and entertainment.
Previous inductees include Prince, BeyoncĂŠ, Michael Jackson, Angela Bassett, Quincy Jones, Stevie Wonder, Queen Latifah, NAS, Outkast, Missy Elliott, Tyler Perry, Snoop Dogg, Usher, Mary J. Blige, and many more.
