SYMVÍOSI Trailer 🤿📽️🌾 𓂃 Our eco-dance film will be premiered live in Fiskardo, Kefalonia on August 1st 2025 at 7pm; as part of the Summer outdoor exhibition, raising awareness for the Mediterranean (Neptune) Seagrass and Monk Seals. Choreographed in dialogue with the Ionian waters and the symbiotic seagrass meadows - the film highlights the importance of protecting these marine eco-systems in service to life below and above the water line. In the past 50 years, the meadows have declined by 34% due to human activity. Kosamare conducts research and advocacy for Posidonia oceanica in the North of Kefalonia, taking actions to protect and restore this important ecosystem. 24/05/2026 TAROT FLOW FT SOFT SPIRALS 5.30-7.30pm We are focusing on THE WORLD card. Tara will be opening the workshop, and introducing Morgaine who will teach their signature dance flow: FLUID FLOORWORK AND SOFT SPIRALS This creative and restorative approach to floorwork and dance welcomes all who are interested. We will use imagery to inspire our movements, working with both improvisation and movement phrases to learn and investigate within. We will move close to the ground and dive deep into our relationship to the pulls of gravity. Movement in this class is inspired by human’s relationship to the natural world and invites us to experience our own bodies as nature. Tara will close the space with a guided meditation on the card. the arriving series: a lifetime of hopeful solos 32 arriving performed Dec 21, 2026 Excerpt. nice to share this section as it’s usually performed naked. this project is a live accumulative autobiographical solo that I will perform throughout my lifetime. every year the number in the title and the work itself will grow and change as I do. the arriving series mothers our experience of time and centers the body as a story-telling-natural-landscape in constant evolution with its environments. the wold of the work advocates a philosophy and spirit for the right to simply live in the body. a point of research in resistance to the harm oppression, imperialism, capitalism, and hyper-professionalism places on all human bodies. this series is love letter to humans, environment, and all organic life. it is an invitation to soften the body, experience ourselves as nature, and to lean into our collective spirit.

32 arriving performing Dec 14 for @dancenewjersey Sunday Salon. filmed by @thisisaaronemmanuel at the generous @arthouseproductions this is a solo that I will perform throughout my lifetime and it will evolve and change as naturally as we do. The current version is centered around remembering and dreaming. It is an effort to remember being born, project into my hopeful motherhood, remember that as humans we are nature, battle my relationships to work within capitalist empires, remember where my ppl come from, and dream of and feel for a better world. video description: close up of morgaine's hands slowly buttoning her dark green nightgown. she reaches forward for her hair tie. the camera follows her hand up her torso as she begins to put her hair up - looking out. full body, lightly grooving in her night gown. cut to slowly swiping right side side then to indulging in a Balancé to the right: one to two three, then to the left: one two - cuts to an explosive gesture of her entire body being blasted into and arch in her backspace. she traces clear direct lines with almost a blade like hand that they releases in a circular flick to the space around her. reveling a relieved and maybe hopeful facial expression up and out. now in only a bra from the sternum up - she slowly takes pants from a clothing rack, looks behind her. cuts back to green gown, her arms swoop in a circle fast but tenderly. blurred slow motion of putting pants on. cuts to green nightgown dance, gestures on her chest as thought telling a story on her torso. clothing falls slowly, morgaine is reveled nestle into a black stage curtain, brightly lit, looking towards the future with a soft smile and anticipatory eyes. then getting changed as quick as possible, jacket, shoes, she takes her hair down, slow motion on her way to something that seems important. her face slides down from between two curtains, she grabs the chair, places it in a harsh round spot light. dressed in a blazer, black dress pants, and heels with disheveled hair she tries to compose her chaos as she slowly sits in the chair center stage. cuts to black.
