1st birthday of SeenInMotion was literally the ideas in my head coming true. So much playfulness, people showing all of themselves and just so much support. It was so beautiful.
Thankyou everyone that came it feels like a small moment of community that we did not want to be over!

What SeenInMotion is like.
I find it challenging to explain my workshop to people sometimes. I feel it is truly better to come expirence it as words canāt capture the feeling when youāre there, at least for me. Hopefully this little reel helps.

SeenInMotion from the 21st August. It was wonderful to facilitate to an amazing group of humans. It was intimate but the energy never died down, it was such a beautiful evening to be part of and felt like the idea in my head coming to life.

Putting together all of the information from @matildetuss two day workshop and seeing how it came out in my body.
It was great to explore her movement language and see the ways it connected movements I couldnāt do before and just to move in this ways I would never think of moving. All around amazing workshop and great teacher!

@caravanliveculture is such a amazing place for self expression.
Itās still so scary to dance in front of people. Especially when thereās people that are to me, a higher level of dancers and you canāt help but compare yourself and get scared to go into the circle.
I did go in the end though and itās never as bad as you think, caravan is also such a supportive event thanks for the encouraging space you create @itschrisreyes and @bismark85 for bringing the energyāŗļø

Itās always interesting for me to explore slower movements and taking time, as itās challenging for me but itās something I am loving the exploration of in my freestyling.

Keeping a consistency of me posting videos of myself dancing is still a challenge. Even though i have a workshop around being seen dancing, I still find it a big edge for myself.
Itās hard not to get into this perfectionist mindset around how I dance. What I couldāve done better, that doesnāt work, why did I do that movement and it goes on. So I still post it, as a way to get used to that discomfort around it and hopefully week by week it will get easier.

Another Monday jam, another not knowing what song will be played different vibes this time. I have a love-hate relationship to pop songs, but they can be so fun to dance to. It allows you to get into a less serious place for me anyway and just have fun with how I move.
