Rabo Art Lab on Stage 2026: Portraits
A performance series at Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen where artists from different disciplines meet through their work. Each edition presents two individual artistic portraits, offering a glimpse into the work and world of each artist. Alongside their individual performances, the artists also respond to one another, creating a shared moment of improvisation.

Matilde Tommasini “TUSS” & Bruno Ferro Xavier da Silva
Matilde Tommasini is an Italian contemporary dancer and movement director based in the Netherlands. A graduate of Codarts University of the Arts in Rotterdam, she performs internationally with choreographers and companies including Cooperativa Maura Morales, Astrid Boons and ISH Dance Collective. Her movement language combines precision and explosivity in a raw physicality shaped by a deep relationship with music.

I am so demanding towards myself I sometimes forget how incredible the things i get to do are.
So I’m grateful. For being able to travel the world with what I love the most, for all the people who are willing to get in my world with me, for everybody who took care and pulled up, for the chances given and the ones I created. I need to take more moments where I stop running and I remind myself of where I’m at.
