Aside from Shiba Inu’s, the cats of dogs, I’m kind of obsessed with the Pallas’s Cat because it’s a small, fierce predator that stands on it’s bushy tail to keep its toe beans warm. ISO Recipes that are: - affordable/easy to make - culturally affirming - original/familial (no AI slop) - capable of feeding many (think potluck for community) Form is linked in the usual spot or use the QR code. I would like for this to be a resource and also a way for us to raise some funds for the good folks over at @chifoodsovereignty . I will make the digital zine available on my site for free and resourced folks are encouraged to donate more. I’ve been thinking about what it means to shed ways of thinking as we encounter new information. Recognizing how the poppy flower seems to connect Palestine, California, and my Chinese heritage is what lead me to this thought: “Blessed are those who continue to uphold our ancestral legacy of solidarity and care.” Because I don’t know where I’d be without the leadership and teachings of ancestors, past and present, who guide us as we connect the dots between our liberatory movements. 👉 Swipe for solidarity and care action items. I’ve decided to stop pouring labor into carousels for this trash app. My long-form artist ass will instead be pouring into zines. I’m tired of trying to squeeze my imagination into arbitrary word counts and shareable aspect ratios. Dancing around the fash censorship tactics is also depleting my battery. And lastly, I don’t want to continue feeding the AI monster that’s cooking the planet and my livelihood as an artist.
