Man, when I was a teenager completely enamored with “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill”, listening on repeat for months, completely in awe…never did I imagine I’d share one of the biggest stages with the Queen herself @mslaurynhill for the 25th anniversary of that iconic album at the @rootspicnic 🔥 I couldn’t have dreamt up a better life for myself! 🎻🎻 Shoutout to the amazing @stringschick for your brilliant arrangements and leadership and to my sis @julesonstrings and @rootstock.republic for always trusting me with such greatness! Whew, this was one for the books! @iggysoul We appreciate you Brotha! Thank you!! ✨ WHAT A DAY ✨ Yesterday, the 5th annual ALL TOGETHER NOW FESTIVAL welcomed students, families, educators, artists, and community partners for an unforgettable celebration of creativity, growth, and the power of music education. 💫 From inspiring workshops and collaborative experiences throughout the day to a joyful evening performance at the Newman Center for the Performing Arts, our students reminded all of us what becomes possible when children are given sustained access to music as part of their education. 🎼 A heartfelt thank you to our incredible guest artists @ddogtagss for sharing their extraordinary talent and energy, and to our wonderful emcee @moniquebrob for bringing warmth, artistry, and inspiration to the celebration. 🙏 Deep gratitude to the organizations and facilitators who helped create such a meaningful day for our students: 🎶 @elsistemacolorado 🎶 @mobilestudiononprofit 🎶 @newmancenterdu 🎶 @operacolorado 🎶 @vocochoirs To our ETM-CO music teachers, staff, volunteers, families, and everyone who helped make this experience possible: thank you.
