What a week! Back with the MLH gang AND Vanguard to write and produce the strings and harp for this incredible tribute to D’Angelo and Robert Flack. Surrounded by sooooooo many legendary musicians 🤯 and artists was insanity. 🫠 It was like a chaotic family reunion filled with love and respect and hugs and admiration. The way we all got it done simultaneously was nothing short of a miracle. I got a chance to not only write for the @grammys but play as well and with friends. @mslaurynhill you are one heck of a lady. Our very own Hamilton Hardin, multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer, will be serving on faculty for Session B alongside Christian Howes, Jason Anick, and an incredible community of artists and educators.
This experience is designed for:
🎻 Performers wanting to deepen creativity and improvisation
📚 Teachers seeking fresh professional development and diverse teaching tools
🎓 Students looking to grow musically in a supportive and inspiring environment
Participants will explore:
✨ Improvisation and creativity beyond the page
✨ Groove, rhythm, and musical communication
✨ Jazz, folk, fiddle, Latin, and contemporary styles
✨ Collaborative music-making and ensemble skills
✨ New teaching approaches and engaging classroom ideas
