Le style de Moderna est décrit comme un mélange sombre et enivrant de techno, dark disco, electro et acid, porté par des voix travaillées et assombries qui sont devenues sa signature distinctive. Ayant commencé très jeune au sein d’un groupe noise, The Static Cult, elle est rapidement tombée amoureuse de sa quête d’un son underground unique. Après plusieurs années de collaboration étroite avec le label de musique électronique indépendante Ghostly International, elle s’est naturellement tournée vers ses propres projets, qui ont rencontré une reconnaissance mondiale et un fort écho dans l’underground. Elle est aujourd’hui très demandée à l’international, se produisant en DJ dans des clubs et lors de soirées tels que le Womb à Tokyo, le Rex Club à Paris, le Kater Blau à Berlin, le Garbicz Festival en Pologne, ainsi que le Topaz Deluxe, le Bar Americas et Sunday Sunday au Mexique. Désormais installée à Berlin, cette artiste originaire de Los Angeles a gagné en visibilité en Europe en travaillant sur de nouvelles productions, en tournant et en concentrant son énergie sur le label hybride et l’émission de radio Brave New Rave, qui accueille son premier album The Future Is Among Us, disponible dès maintenant sur toutes les plateformes.

Now in its sixth year, RAKERAKA's signature party, “DEAR MONDAY,” having carved out a long-standing, secretive presence among music enthusiasts. Unlike boisterous parties, it's the good venue for those who wish to savour dope underground music at their own leisurely pace and This underground hideaway-like venue sees music lovers gather at a leisurely pace.
This time, we welcome two DJs from Berlin. Moderna is known for her dark and stimulating sound, which blends techno, dark disco, electro and acid, alongside her trademark dark vocals. Meanwhile, Mäi skilfully weaves together sounds from electro, EBM, techno and acid house etc. Furthermore, organiser HSC, who focuses on British mutant rave music and emphasises ritualism and storytelling, will guide you on an intoxicating musical journey in a post-club, freeform style.
RAKERAKA's Monday nights feature the exceptional FUNKTION-ONE sound system and cool music flowing onto the dance floor, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of an Asian ritual space in the darkness! Let's go!

Moderna’s style is described as a dark heady blend of Techno, Dark Disco, Elektro, and Acid with wrought darkened vocals that has become her signature distinction. Beginning at a young age in a noise band, ‘The Static Cult’, she quickly fell in love with her passion for an underground unique sound.
The artwork has been done by @alina__mann , who was born and raised in Berlin. Working in Los Angeles, Rio de Janeiro, Dubai and Bangkok for longer periods has inspired her work. She is a devoted architect, yet art allows her to transcend client demands, budget constraints and planning restrictions which regularly limit her artistic freedom.
