moemu is a producer and sound artist composing between ambient soundscapes and club music with experimental but cute, pop sensibilities. His music explores states of dissociation, melancholy, catharsis and solace. Compositions range from swirling, emotive textures, to grooves that have swagger in its step.
He has released music with @tabula.rasa.records in San Francisco, and on @soak.uuuu , a Petropavl, Kazakhstan label.
moemu 是一位音樂製作人及聲音藝術家。他的創作遊走於氣氛音景與俱樂部音樂之間，兼具實驗性及可愛與流行的感性。他的音樂探索著解離、憂鬱、宣洩與慰藉等心境。他的風格多變，既有充滿情感、盤旋縈繞的音色，亦有步履間洋溢著自信的律動。
他曾透過舊金山的 @tabula.rasa.records 以及位於哈薩克斯彼得羅巴甫爾的廠牌 @soak.uuuu 發行作品。

メトロノリ從即興的聲音與詞句為起點，唱作由模糊邊界與場所記憶所形塑的流行曲。moemu 模糊氣氛音樂與倶樂部音樂，融和實驗與流行，在動靜之間探索心境的變幻。Jia7將呈現她旅途上蒐集的自然片段和共創的音樂與映像，首次將她的「數碼花園」帶進現場。

Metoronori starts from improvised sounds and words, creating pop music shaped by blurred boundaries and memories of place.moemu blurs the lines between ambient and club, experimental and pop, exploring the shifting moods between stillness and movement. Jia7 comes with the natural pieces she recorded during her travels, along with the music and images she co-created, bringing her “Digital Garden” into the real world for the first time.

We started working on this together in NYC in 2023 as a fun leftfield dubstep jam; I loved how it evolved into this mix of influences from all of us 3, sitting somewhere between modern underground bass music, left field techno, visceral ambient and more playful modern club music.

“Metamorphosis of Confinement’ celebrates Tai Kwun’s transformation from a place of captivity into an iconic art hub. Incorporating a mix of cultural influences and feelings inspired by the site, the piece evolves from the geometrically constrained visuals into an organic abstract landscape. By reimagining the site’s essence through an alternative blend of visuals and sound, it offers the audience a multisensory experience that breaks the limits of reality.

Had an amazing chance to be a part of InnerGlow Searchlight in Tai Kwun this year with our audiovisual project in collaboration with @mo_e____mu 🫧. So grateful for the opportunity to try projection mapping and it’s so surreal to see our work on such a large scale ;)
The animation is on display every night until Feb 14 6:45-9:30pm along with other incredible works in Prison Yard and Parade Ground ~🌟
