Hi, Iām Megan Moss.
I love dance. Iām not a ballet teacher that does yoga, or a contemporary performer that has choreographed musicals, or a precision jazz teacher that loves improvisation.
Iām just Meganā¦.and I do stuff.
Iām constantly shifting and changing because I follow what interests me, and that keeps me always growing and authentic in my field. Dance is something I fought to have a part of my life, and I donāt take it for granted.
Dance fascinates me. Iām a teacher, a performer, a choreographer, and a forever student.
Iām also just a person who loves raising my 3 kids, traveling with my husband, putting whip cream on everything, starting every day with warm coffee and a candle, eating chocolate, fly fishing in Colorado, painting tiny cards with water colors, fitness training, and watching the sky at night when stars start to appear.
I have been a single mom. I know what itās like to hustle, and I have a story I plan to share one day. Iām an advocate for women, and Iām passionate about empowering my children and my students.
If I could give one piece of advice, it would be: take up space. When you dance, take up space. When you step into a room, take up space. When you talk, take up space. In a world that says youāre not enough, or pushes to silence youāfor whatever reasonātake up space. Everyone has their own ideas and story and a place in this world.
Dance is a way I take up space and teach others how to do so. Dance is my way of speaking when I canāt say the words. Dance is my passion and I am forever grateful that I get to do it everyday.
