@missingelementshow brings together 5 world-champion beatboxers of
@thebeatboxhouse @napom_official @gene.shinozaki @chrisceliz @amitbeats @kennyurban ) with some of NYC’s greatest street & club dancers, directed by
@invertebratenyc . The show highlights forms rooted in improvisation like Krump, FlexN, Popping, house, and breaking, to a multi-layered score produced entirely by the human body/ voice 🤯.
Since being commissioned by
@worksandprocess the show has toured around the US and internationally, including at
@nationalgallery @lincolncenter @guild_hall @jacobspillow and
@museoguggenheim , as well as
@uva_wise @lenfestshows @museumofcityny this past Fall. In April they’ll be at
@theclariceumd with support from
@midatlanticarts
