This is an evening for deep listening, reflection, and getting lost in the meditative effects of music. Expect both live electronic and instrumental performances to take you away. Come with an open mind, and open heart, and let the music do the rest.

This ‘Clearing’ event, we will explore the central theme: what it means to be a « Guardian » and « steward » of our own mind.
There is a part of us, humans, that perceives the world as « resources » that we must posses, consume, subject to our will, make it a reflection of us.
It has not always been like that. Ancient cultures saw man’s intelligence, not as a basis for superiority and entitlement but as a carrier of a duty for care and responsibility.
We are not only guests here, but we are beings capable of envisioning a future.
This weekend, we will be surrounded by bustling nature: trees, flowers, moss, bees, frogs, deer, water, rocks, rabbits, insects, snakes, turtles, birds - lets meet them.
Expand our hearts into their world. Envision a future with them.

Feeling very proud of the Star Eyes Quintet's performance of "Dimensions of Sorrow" at @salononkingston . We brought together poetry, storytelling, and atmospheric music to explore the relationship between joy and sorrow.
It was deeply meaningful to share the stage with friends whom I admire, in a space where so many creative seeds have been planted. Last Friday, the blossoms were fragrant and gorgeous.
