It’s been a year - since putting up one of the most exciting concerts of my career. September the 28th last year saw over 70 musicians on stage with the Malta Philharmonic singing Stephen Schwartz’ catalogue of incredible music in full symphony with some of the best singers, musicians and people I know. As ever, Stephen’s generosity made this evening possible. Not just with the incredible music he has given to the world. But also with his time, commitment, and love. When my wife, Keri René Fuller, and I met the inimitable Andrzej Tabero @a.t_andy @ad_events_ltd in 2023, we knew we had found the right partner for such an ambitious and challenging show. A special thanks from our hearts to all those on the Malta side with a list too long to fit in the credits. But, Ryan Paul Abela, the MCC, Andrea Frendo @andreafrendo and her team, our wonderful choir, Adrian Mamo @adrianmamo and Teatru Manoel and Joseph Calleja @maltesetenor …thank you. With stories about the creations of each song, show, and orchestrations filled for symphonic forces, we put up a concert I’d been dreaming of for just under a decade. I’ve spent the year putting this together in the pockets of time I’ve had between things - shout out to my team in the UK: Matt Hyde.
