ŻEJTUNE opens in Malta today! This is a film I feel truly blessed to be part of. As a first-time actor and also a songwriter, having my track Malju featured in Żejtune is deeply rewarding on many levels. Alex Camilleri, along with the incredible team behind this film, has woven together a beautiful Maltese story we can cherish for many years to come… a story that has Maltese music, landscape and people at its heart.
I hope you can all make it to the cinemas to enjoy the film, which features great performances by Michela Farrugia and Nenu Borg (il-Brazz), who is also making his acting debut at 82, among many others.

Last Friday’s release concert of Tfal tax-Xemx was everything we had hoped for. It was the culmination of months of work by the choir and the band, and a true privilege to see a vision come to life—and to share it with a packed theatre that experienced it alongside us. None of it would have been possible without the dedication, heart, and talent of the entire team.
First off - the choir! I want to thank Lisa, Emma, Hailey and Georgia along with their families for their time and commitment to rehearsals and preparing for the concert. Special thanks to the choir director, @spiteristeph .

Over the past five years or so, @michaelazzo has carved his own space in the coalescence of alternative, indie, and folk. Tfal tax-Xemx, Michael’s brand-new album, will be launched at @spazjukreattiv on the 4th of April, and is quite possibly his most collaborative album yet. @jimmy_bartolo from @ultralowmusic is once again the main producer on board, but the rest of the personnel is wonderfully leftfield and includes members from the Malta National Children’s Choir, members of the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra, and Veronique Vella as an arranger.
Everything points towards Tfal tax-Xemx being a fascinating album, but with no music out yet, the suspense is real. I asked Michael to divulge more details about the album, and I’m very happy to say that he obliged. Check out our full conversation at benmifsudjoslin.substack.com (link in bio)
