I wanted to show that regardless of your origins, ethnicity, background - if you dedicate a decade to any craft, project, mission, dream, you will reach not just a good mastery but the highest level. I didn’t reach the world’s #1 but the mission is still going on. The job’s is not done yet. All your individual messages from all over the world filled my heart with gold. Chicago 2024 taught me dedication and insane work ethic Geneva 2025 taught me mindfulness and champion mentality Bangkok 2026 reminded me why I started all of this You never walk alone. It took a village to bring this result. Feeling over the moon to be blessed to win the United States Cup Taster’s Championship 🏆🏆🏆🇺🇸 This journey has been nothing short of extraordinary, filled with endless cups of coffee, challenging tastings, and an unwavering passion for the art of coffee. 7 years of competitions, 5 years cup tasting, 380 sessions this year and more than 10k cups, I couldn’t have done this without the incredible support from each and every one of you. Bolivia has arrived at Memli — and it’s now available! Two new releases. Two completely different expressions of a rare origin. Bolivia accounts for less than 0.1% of global coffee production. What it lacks in volume, it delivers in intensity — coffee grown at extreme altitudes in the Yungas, a lush tropical region carved into the eastern slopes of the Andes, where cherries take up to 10–11 months to develop compared to 6–7 at lower altitudes. In the midst of the U.S. Coffee Roasters Championship, we got to see competitors and members of the coffee community come together for the Roast to Cup Workshop led by Mehmet Sogan of @memlicoffee . The session focused on cupping techniques that help roasters identify defects, refine their sensory skills, and ultimately improve their roasting approach from batch to batch. Thank you to Mehmet for putting together such a thoughtful and practical workshop, and to everyone who joined us to learn, taste, and share knowledge in the middle of an exciting weekend of competition.
