Eight and a half years ago, my #mentalhealth wasn’t good. I was really struggling, sometimes even publicly. I’d gone public and to face things I’d avoided just to #survive, and in that space, I started writing about a place that felt safe. Over time, especially through many iterations and over thinking, it became something more. Every road I took over my lifetime, the good and the painful, led me here. #TGWCM This year it feels like the right people want to be a part of it too. It’s exciting but.. I just hope I get to share it with you. ????? Would this be something you’d want to read… or watch? “More than anything, I want to be the message I needed as a child, a light for people who feel deeply. A reminder that softness isn’t weakness, that there is strength in caring, in feeling, and in staying open in a world that often tells you not to. I want to show that life can be intentional, that we don’t have to keep hurting just to belong. That we can have boundaries, self-respect, and still be kind. Every single human carries #trauma. It isn’t a dirty word, it’s a truth of being alive. And when we allow it into storytelling, not as something to hide or to scare others, but something to understand, it creates connection, honesty, and space for healing. I want women and young girls to know their light isn’t a burden, it’s who they are. And they don’t have to give it to everyone to be loved. They can protect it, choose where it’s valued, and let it grow where it’s nurtured. Start in one corner and sew around the edges, back stitching at the beginning and end 4. (Optional) Use the unpicker to pull threads through to the back and knot off. 5. et voila!!
