Gates of Heaven was on my dream travel bucket list long before I had ever considered actually going to Bali. 2 hour car ride, 10min shuttle and 15min hike up a steep mountain side to this beautiful temple in the sky. On a clear day you can see one of Baliโs active volcanos centered right in the doorway behind where Iโm standing. Despite the craziness of tourism flooding the temple, it still holds sacred and holy energy there. You can feel it the moment you enter. The peace, the love and wisdom absorbed in every stone. In January 2026 I did something Iโve dreamed of doing my entire life.
I got on a plane and traveled solo to the other side of the world. I was in Bali for a little over two weeks. The first 9 days I spent with some incredible people from Germany doing a Yoga retreat. The next 7 days it was tourist mania! This trip changed my life for so many reasons. And I only have God to thank for this incredible opportunity. A once in a lifetime trip I canโt wait to do again!
