Oh, just getting one of the most important calls any aspiring Country singer dreams of, from one of the most important Country songwriters of all time. Iāve been tickled as a feather sitting on the news that Iāll be making my debut at the Grand Ole Opry on Friday, June 26th - let alone that I received the news from one of my absolute biggest inspirations, @thebrandyclark . The dream of performing at the @opry one day feels like it simultaneously came right along with picking up a fiddle for the first time at 7 years old. Iāve since spent several years thinking my voice might not be welcome in country music - so to get the invitation to take my voice, step it inside that coveted circle, and sing my heart out for the first time will absolutely be one of the greatest honors of my life. I hope itās the first time of many. I also hope I donāt cry the whole time lol.
