R O D E O D R I V E ❤️✨❤️✨❤️✨❤️✨❤️✨❤️✨❤️✨ A take on the fancy street in Beverly Hills, but make it country. It’s a lyric in one of the songs and I chose it for the album title because it sums me up perfectly. I love music, but most of all I love country music. The storytelling is the best. I’ve always loved to sing, but when I learned to play guitar and sing along it was like nothing else I had felt. Then when I started writing songs to express whatever it was I had to say, I found it so rewarding. I’m hooked. I love 90’s country. You’ll hear it, along with other influences from artists I admire like Miranda, Kacey, Megan, and The Dixie Chicks. This album doesn’t have a theme. It’s not going to be nominated for an award. It’s just 8 songs that I wrote with some songwriting friends, when I was 15 (one at 14), and I hope you like them as much as I do. I’ll never have another debut album. This whole experience has been so special and I don’t take it for granted. I’m grateful for my parents’ unwavering support, and for @mdmango being willing to give me a chance. In November 2024, @zacbrown told me he wanted a 40-piece orchestra on the new album and in the Sphere show… He sent me a text with the number for the legendary arranger Kristin Wilkinson, and said to run with it… Over the next 6 months Kristin created orchestrations for Butterfly, Colder Weather, Free, and My Old Man… We hired 40 of the finest musicians in Nashville (and maybe in the entire country)… We booked @oceanwaynashville one of the most beautiful recording studios around… Hired a talented copyist and a world class engineer… …and produced stunningly beautiful recordings that stand as a high point in my career. Now these recordings are being played back through one of the most advanced sound systems in the world at The Sphere in Las Vegas… And it all started with one text message and one phone number. And it just goes to show that sometimes you need to say “yes”… …and figure it out along the way. 📸 @jasonstoltzfus
