My graduation collection “I will wade out” reflects a journey of emancipation, exploring heritage and culture as an operating system. It embraces uncertainty and practices agency, where the act of dressing externalizes inner change in response to new revelations. Each look embodies a never-ending inner pilgrimage. I will wade out is a declaration, a willingness to wander into the unknown. Endlessly grateful to my uncle Nassib Abdulrahman for introducing me to the art of Arabic calligraphy and for generously allowing me to weave his work into my collection. Special thanks to @maya_al_khaldi for entrusting me with her beautiful song By Numbers, which seamlessly wove into my work, I’m eternally grateful. LOOK 8 “Ether” For this final look, the process was painstakingly meticulous. It began digitally, with spiraling lines that were later 3D printed in bronze filament onto a delicate tulle dress, overlaid with a hand-dyed silk organza veil.
