This is, without a doubt, the biggest photography project I’ve ever taken on. Somehow I convinced the boys in @bigguyband to let me shoot the cover for their first album, Our Best Efforts. As with most things, this spiraled out of control. I wound up designing the entire package for them. And if that wasn’t enough, I thought it’d be neat to do a zine with photography and liner notes. This too, spiraled into a 46 page tome chronicling the boys’ journey over the past four years.
Photographers, it’s not enough to take and edit the photo. Do something cool with your art. Push yourself into a place where you’re not entirely sure if the end product will work. Trust that it will.
