A highlight of this year so far, the media partnership back in August between @vaario_2025 / @vaainternational and @totalpaddler + my announcing of the Va'a World Championships in Niteroi, Brazil for 6 days straight. Blessed to be once again part of the International Surfing Association SUP & PADDLEBOARD World Championships as the event MC 🙏🎤 for a total of 40 hours. What an amazing 8 days of top level competition with 180 of the world's best in he heart of Copenhagen, Denmark 🇩🇰 - The sunshine brought half of the event's success and athletes, coaches, ISA + Surf & SUP Danmark staff, volunteers, visitors, and us announcers did collectively the rest! My level of optimism is through the roof, backed by world-class performances, new faces, impressive progressions and international athletes as young as 12! Can't wait to find out where I'll be MCing for the ISA next year! Huge thanks to Anna Nadola + Dóra Hegedűs who did a cracking job with social media coverage on @totalsup while I was busy! 🌞🌻A sunny day in the life of Mr TotalSUP & Sons @mathieuastier - a 7km adventure (and back) on the beautiful natural reserve river between the lakes of Soustons and Vieux Boucau (France 🇨🇵) with 11 year old Tom and 9 year old Martin. We packed the @honuboards Sorrento 11'3 and Bondi as well as the @niphean_official Clovis Point. The reward was the most delicious pizza at @lapizzeriadulac (Where Mr TotalSUP has its own custom "Mataio" pizza and a beach nap before heading back! Life is better on a Paddleboard, people 😀
