Moving forward with tradition.
This week was spent preparing Ho’ola for Molokai to Oahu, that’s coming up in a couple of weeks. This weekend I’ll be at the Catalina Crossing where all of the canoes will be unlimited.
It’s important to move forward and part of moving forward is knowing where we come from.
I consider myself lucky to work on traditional canoes like our family’s Koa and to apply what I have learned over the years to the Malolo and future unlimited canoes.
