Cornwall on Fire!! Maybe one of the best days wavesailing we have had at this particular spot in Cornwall!
With a massive 5m
@16 secs swell set for last Saturday, any wavesailor in UK was setting their Sat Nav for the Bluff in St Ives Bay. Remember the epic conditions at the
@redbullstormchase , well this was similar but sunny and warm all day!
I made it down the previous evening and got a warm up session at Gwithian, but even that was full tilt, as heavy as Gwithian gets and just firing!!
I started the Saturday pretty chilled with a Sauna in Hayle Rivermouth, little did i know that in this same rivermouth we'd be hitting 10-12ft barelling lips 5 hrs later!!
Arriving at the Bluff it was nuking and by the time i had rigged my
@duotone.windsurfing 4.5m Super Hero DLab and grabbed my trusty 94L Ultra Grip Quad DLab the waves had tripled in size! I love these days, do or die conditions, with all the boys out you had to give it everything!
