🔔 International Va’a Federation - OC1 Update
Following constructive discussions with the International Canoe Federation (ICF), OC1 events have been removed from the 2026 ICF Canoe Ocean Racing World Cup programme due to the OC1 being an IVF recognised craft.
OC1 remains within the International Va’a Federation racing programme and will be included in IVF World Distance championships alongside V1 events. This provides clarity for member federations. The IVF remains committed to working closely with the ICF and strengthening collaboration to support athlete participation across all disciplines.
