Crookes showed up in numbers!! Thank you so much!! It couldn’t have been a better evening (except for maybe if we’d had more chips to sell)!! We raised a lovely £312.22 for Friends of Butoke (Congo) and @heal.palestine as well as selling out with a total of 67 people fed in our backyard!! Biggest thank you to the kitchen staff mlly_mc and @sc.13._ and to our front of house m.arrcher and @tenquid._ big thank you to @sunbugd who provided us the iconic suitcase speaker and to @leila.maeve77 and @_angusx who soundtracked the first two hours of the event. and thank you to @arkodoy_21 and @cpt.cave.man who unfortunately didnt get to play due to our interrupting a little boys bedtime (apologies to the neighbours) but who brought the vibes all the same (and who’ll be back to play a later one for sure!!) and ofc thank u to @archielikesbugs who sorted the raffle and the prizes which were highly popular (we highly considered turning it into an auction due to such high demand for the piss boy cup) Loaded and fried as we are, keep ur stomachs growling and your coin purses poised as we got a big announcement this weekend!!

🚨There will be no June Apricot Ballroom due to the system being down in Bristol at @super__nature__world 🚨 However we will be back in July and delighted to have @mashytka_0 joining us. Tickets now available for July.

Exploring house music and the freedom and flow of the dancefloor 💫✨ Next month we are honoured to invite Isis Moray, Paniolo and Mashytka to the decks 🙌 🖤 ISIS MORAY We’ve been wanting to work with @isismoray for a while so this is a real honour. Having played with collectives such as Algorythm, Black Beacon Sound, Fixate and Zone 88, her versatility behind the decks reflects a constant, curious exploration of sound. Blending the darker edges of her signature sound, Isis Moray brings a heady mix of grit and groove to Murmurations, diving deep into some of her favourite house, tech-house, techno and deep acid. 🖤 PANIOLO @dj_paniolo - co-founder of the queer friendly collective Orange Room, has a penchant for trippy chug, woven textures, slow acid, tunnelling basslines & blending dark and light as energy ebbs and flows. Not one to be corralled by any genre, he ranges from EBM, ballearica, and progressive & techy house, techno, and trance. 🖤 MASHYTKA @mashytka_0 (aka Masha) will be warming up the night for us! Introducing our first act on the slot on April 23rd, @mashytka_0 Having started their DJ journey in Sheffield, Masha has made their way through many gigs at @forge.sheffield @sidneyandmatilda @factoryfloorbar and many more. Having developed a legacy up north with @privateregcords and their residency show “Bangers & Mash” on @kitchen.radio.sheff we’re gassed to be having Masha on the dance-floor for their debut London show!
