My latest article “Patter Recognition: Identifying a Gap in the Surface Pattern Design Literature” is now available, open access, through the journal Textile.
This article emerged through the research process of my PhD and presents a need for more comprehensive methods-based research in Surface Pattern Design.

Thanks to the @frankiemagazine team my design, The Birds, is available for a free phone wallpaper download. How lovely is that?
I’ve put the link into the list. Happy days.
This week @wild_flower_women , Aunty Hope O’Chin @hopeochin , and I were very lucky to have access to the new Maker Space at the @sclibraries in Caloundra. The project was the first of three weeks responding to the Wildflowering by Design exhibition currently on at the Caloundra Regional Gallery @caloundraregionalgallery
A whole week to make, and talk, and experience this great new space. We had some great visits by artists and locals, and a lot of coffee.
The project will continue next week with @libbyderham.art and @beemellor_ with the following week hosted by @rosielloydgiblett and @nvc.projects
This project was supported by the Sunshine Coast Libraries and Caloundra Regional Gallery - a Sunshine Coast Council initiative.

The team at @frankiemagazine have made a travel-inspired magazine called Places.
In this issue of Places they have made a section called ‘snail mail’ that includes writing paper and envelopes to encourage letter writing. The stationery is patterned with gorgeous designs by @hollysanders_art and @cassdellerdesign , among many others, alongside two of my designs.
The designs of mine included are “the birds” and “love creeper”, both of which are also available through fabric print-on-demand services.
Thank you so I the Frankie team for including me in this gorgeous project.

The @unisc.australia student magazine Delve was launched at @illuminate.exhibition25 last night, featuring writing, and imagery by our amazing students.
It was wonderful to share the story of Wildflowering by Design Lab and Exhibition in this issue of the magazine. Well done to all the students for their incredible work.
I’m delighted to share that I have been nominated for the ‘Outstanding Educator Mentor in the Industry Award’ for the Women in Fashion Awards, 2025. Thank you to the kind soul who nominated me ❤️
