What a joy to cover this Super Pad box in a wildflower pattern, featuring Phebalium woombye and more wallum plants 🌸

They are an Aus owned social enterprise for feel good periods ~ with 50% of their profits funding girls education & menstrual support PLUS their pads and tampons are made from super comfy sustainable and organic materials PLUS they have super colourful and fun artist collab box designs 🌿
Menstrual care has come so far since I was a teen, and I love that we have more choice now to choose products like these from positive businesses that are kinder to our bodies and the planet. As a self proclaimed mega menstrual gal (and later duh stage 4 endometriosis) it feels full circle to be able to collab with a superstar business like TSUNO.

Leptospermum polygalifolium (Tantoon) ~ 1 of 3 exhibiting artworks from 'Rearranged: Art of the Flower' at @museumofbrisbane
This was such a dream commission from the Museum. I was able to spend lots of time in my favourite local Bushland, Toohey Forest, sitting, walking and riding my bike to find the plants that were asking to be drawn :) The shine of the perfect white petals glinting and beckoning out of shady forest patches are what drew me to draw this one in particular ✨
I loved following the seasonal changes and having the time to observe and draw in person before finishing up the illos back in my studio. Here are a few process photos and a snap of the final print artwork for sale!
