Performance on Easington Beach as part of the Living Coast exhibition in the gallery at the @universityofhull - Oct 30th to December 4th.The performance responds to the lives led, histories and ever-shifting geography of South Holderness and the Spurn peninsula. Filmed on Easington Beach in April this year featuring students from @hulldramaproduction who also co-created the work. Stunning film produced by @wearehinterland, @stewartbaxter, @andylittlefilm and @luke_hallett_ Music features field recordings from Spurn along with a generative string section (that will never be repeated in quite this form) and improvised piano responses. The piece is called ‘Coastal Process’. Created with support from @musichulluni.
