UNTHINKABLE FESTIVAL x DØTE presents - HØUSE Step inside Maister House for a one-off performance of HØUSE, an improvised sound work by experimental composer BØMBED BUILDINGS (@stewartbaxter ). Created as a visceral response to the spaces of this historic Georgian building, HØUSE layers tape loops, guitar, and haunting orchestral textures performed with @markslater__ , Daniel Thompson and members of the Eclectic Orchestra (@eclectichull ) Part installation, part live composition, this immersive evening will feature special guests, a screening of the ‘making of’ film (edited by @jamesmilocooper ) and the launch of a limited vinyl edition – each handmade in Hull screen printed by Josh Williams (@yeahbstill ) using @gfsmithpapers stock, pressed by @raretonemastering with unique B-sides featuring voices from @jehnnybeth , @thisisthekit , @orakald , Audrey Dunne, Mez Green and more. I’ve been admittedly too quiet about this. A few months ago, Stew dumped a a tonne of footage on me, documenting a 2 year long creative process and personal journey - all of it captured by multiple talented people.
