The Lewis Sewell Memorial Trust @thelsmtrust , in partnership with producer @markrobertpetty , is bringing the magic of the West End to Derbyshire for one unforgettable evening @derbytheatre on Sunday 3rd May at 7.30pm.
This spectacular concert will feature an all-star West End cast performing alongside talented pupils from @embarkfederation and @ktcostudios . Together they will perform beloved songs from musicals including The Greatest Showman, The Phantom of the Opera, Love Never Dies, West Side Story, Little Shop of Horrors, Hamilton, Back To The Future, The Buddy Holly Story, Guys & Dolls, Sunset Boulevard, Jersey Boys, Wicked, Les Misérables, Rent, Grease, Dear Evan Hansen, Mamma Mia! and many more.

4½lbs off this week and officially hit my SlimmingWorld target at 12 stone this morning after a full week of Speed #Food.
Really proud of the achievement, but even more grateful for the people around me who helped me get there. @a_lot_like_charlotte my SlimmingWorld consultant asked me to stand up and speak in group this morning, and I found myself talking far more about community than weight loss.
Because honestly, it’s never just about numbers on a scale.
It’s about encouragement, accountability, laughter, support, listening to people and reminding each other that none of us are doing this alone. Walking through those doors each week can sometimes be just as important mentally as it is physically.
Huge thank you to Charlotte for being such a brilliant consultant, to @sw_allie82 for filming my speech, and to everyone in group this morning for being so kind and supportive.

It’s Mental Health Awareness Week, and this week I started therapy.
I’m sharing that not because I want sympathy or worried messages, but because I think it’s important that we normalise conversations around mental health in the same way we would around physical health.
So many of us have become very good at carrying things quietly. We keep working, creating, socialising, smiling and showing up for everyone else whilst privately feeling anxious, overwhelmed, exhausted, sad or simply not ourselves. The truth is that mental health affects every single one of us at different points in life, regardless of age, success, career, relationships or circumstance.
Someone can look completely fine on the outside whilst carrying an enormous amount internally. And often we only speak openly about mental health once someone reaches breaking point, when actually there is real strength in recognising we need support before things get there.
Starting therapy this week feels like a genuinely positive step for me. Not because I’m broken, but because I’ve realised how important it is to make space to talk honestly, reflect properly and understand yourself more deeply. Therapy isn’t weakness. If anything, it takes courage to sit with yourself truthfully and begin unpacking things you may have ignored or carried for years.
I also think there’s a misconception that therapy is only for people in crisis. In reality, it can be one of the healthiest and most constructive things a person can do. We invest in our careers, relationships, homes and physical health, yet so often neglect the part of us that experiences all of it: our mind.
This post isn’t a cry for help. It’s simply a reminder that none of us truly know what another person may be navigating privately. Be kind to people. Be patient. Check in with your friends and check in with yourself too.
And if anyone reading this has been struggling quietly, feeling emotionally exhausted, anxious or aware that something just feels “off”, please know that reaching out is not something to be ashamed of. Speaking to someone you trust or starting therapy could genuinely change your life.
Take care of yourselves and each other.
