IBJJF European Champion today 🥇 The current world champion in my weight class and the number 1 ranked brown belt in the world, across all weight classes was in my bracket today so this was a big test for me. He unfortunately was put out in the semi finals but I submitted his successor in the final after being 23-0 up, with a rear naked choke. Another step in the right direction for myself, lots to work on and improve but always giving my all. Thanks to my fiancée, my coaches and all of my training partners.

🏴 History was made, first Scottish person to win ADCC trials. Winning +99kg ADCC trials, with less than 5 years of training. I never thought anything would come close to when I won the powerlifting World Championships, but this absolutely topped it.
Far from where I need to be, and just getting to ADCC one time isn’t the goal. Lots of work to do, huge improvements to be made but I’m young, both in age and this sport and will make the necessary improvements. Big things are coming!

The turnout was phenomenal, and the energy was amazing. The details from the mount attacks and submissions were incredible so much to learn from. It was great to get him down before he heads back to Texas to train with @gordonlovesjiujitsu and John danaher at @kingsway_hq . He’s gearing up for @adcc_official Worlds in September, and I have no doubt he’s going to smash it. I feel so privileged to have hosted this. Every single person walked away leveled up. What a night!
