@iainmcfarlanecoaching has just finished an absolutely incredible training block. Iain squatted 175kg x 3 reps for a PB, deadlifted 225kg x 3 reps for a PB and then concluded all of this with completing a lifetime goal of bench pressing 140kg. 3 plates per side is a massive milestone and has been a huge goal of Iain’s for a long time and it’s incredible to see him finally smash this 140kg bench and to do it convincingly as well. All of this has been done while being 5kgs lighter in bodyweight as well. Absolutely incredible work 🔥👏🏻

@danwhite_96 hitting a lifetime PB bench and massive milestone of 140kg. This has been a long time coming with Dan and it’s great to help him achieve such a massive milestone. Dan has been very close to this before but a couple of setbacks such as breaking his collarbone (outside the weights room) but nothing has deterred him and his perseverance has been incredible to witness. @jake919293 competed in his bench only competition and came away with the Gold medal 🥇 and a perfect day. Jake went 3/3, finishing on a 140kg bench press. Dean came to me a few months ago with his number 1 goal of improving his S&C for his grappling. A few months after working together, here is Dean taking his previous 1 rep max of 170kg before us starting, now for a set of 5 reps. 1 rep max to a comfortable set or 5 reps after only a few months, is incredible progress. This is a testament to Deans hard work, discipline and effort. Incredible to see!
