Throughout this lovely week, I was reminded that, for thousands of years, Zion and Joshua Tree National Parks have been the homelands of the Southern Paiute, Ancestral Puebloan, Serrano, Cahuilla, Chemehuevi, Mojave, Western Shoshone, and Southern Paiute peoples.
