TYMEK PAPIOR - multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer. The artist uses prepared acoustic instruments, found objects, and field recordings, which he combines with the digital sounds of MIDI instruments and electronics. In 2024 Tymek Papior released his debut solo album “Rugs/Carpets,” which was nominated for a Fryderyk Award in 2025. In January 2026, Tymek’s latest album, “WSPÓLNA SPRAWA LP,” was released by the label BZR RECORDS, which he co-founded.
LUKRAAK duo plays post-silly music of crooked beauty. Using alto saxophone, drums, flutes, found objects as well as their own centered bodies and flying limbs, they produce something of their own with a haphazard attitude. Intricate sonic mosaics and vivid tapestries of complex sound masses are created along the edges of experimental jazz and neo-neo-dada-dada.
Lukraak has previously performed at Porta-Jazz Festival and Valkhof Festival, as well as at venues in Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, Denmark and France. They are individually and collectively active members of the vibrant experimental music scene of Amsterdam. They also regularly perform together with Jaap Blonk as a trio. On 26th of September 2025 their debut album ‘Zaalig’ was released on LukRecords.
