Rising star singer-songwriters Tzara the Machine and Carolina Gemmell are a duo that bring an unearthly glitch sound to life completely acoustically.
Tzara The Machine is the solo project of Amsterdam-based Venezuelan singer-songwriter and producer Francisco Garrido. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Björk, Animal Collective and Bon Iver, Tzara creates a fresh organic sound mixing sampled acoustic instruments and electronic elements. Using his lyrics as a journal for thoughts and feelings he tries to understand: shame, guilt, anger, depression, and self-hatred. His music becoming a safe haven during difficult times—a source of peace in the middle of the storm.
Joined by Carolina Gemmell they adapt the sampled and electronically manipulated nature of Tzara the Machine’s music to only two acoustic guitars. From loud and messy guitars to vulnerable meditative minimalistic soundscapes, this duo takes on many nuances. Working within the Art Pop genre, both artists’ backgrounds and strong aesthetics make for an eclectic mix of folk, free Improvisation, and world music. In a formation as stripped back as it gets, their music invites listeners into an experience that is raw, intimate, and immersive.

theCrystalPlumage is the personal project of piano player Stathis Dovas formed in the Royal Conservatoire of Den Haag. Strongly rooted in the jazz tradition they combine acoustic instruments with live electronics (synths, effects) and turntablism to create original music drawing inspiration from a broad spectrum of sound, from Berlin school of electronic music to free jazz and from Craig Taborn to Brian Eno.

Eurus Mneme is a European-based ensemble led by clarinettist Panos Skouteris. The
group creates music shaped by breath, memory, and the art of close listening. Rooted in
Greek, Ottoman, and Persian ancient modal traditions, Eurus Mneme blends composition
and improvisation to create intimate and unique performances where tradition and
personal expression converge under a narrative flow.
Our Shared Breath is the ensemble’s recent concept, focusing on collective breathing as a
musical and symbolic act. A space where phrasing, silence, and timing are shared.
Through this lens, the music unfolds as a living ritual, reflecting the sacred symbols and
inner worlds carried within these traditions.

The concert proposes a sound journey: the story of the musician who knows his land through songs and reading.

The duet of Kostis Katsibras (guitar, vocals) and Stelios Ladopoulos (bouzouki, vocals) brings to life the sounds of Greek urban folk and rebetiko music, performing songs from the 1930s to 1960s by composers such as Vasilis Tsitsanis, Manolis Chiotis, Apostolos Chatzichristos, Kostas Skarvelis, and Giannis Papaioannou.
Their sound captures the nostalgia of the gramophone era, blending the warm acoustic tones of the bouzouki and guitar with the art of “primo segonto” vocals. The performance evokes the atmosphere of the mid-war rebetiko scene, while offering fresh interpretations through subtle improvisation and unique arrangements.

OUR FIRST @tiny_cellar SESSION STARTS ON FRIDAY 13TH OF MARCH, WITH THE EMILIANO ROCA TRIO:
Founded in 2020 in The Hague, Netherlands, the Emiliano Roca Trio stands out for its ability to push the boundaries of contemporary music through a personal and ever-evolving language. The group brings together three musicians from different cultures: Emiliano Roca (Italy) on guitar, Arjun Ramdas (India) on double bass, and Davids Eglitis (Latvia) on drums.

SHADE is a project of original compositions which draw inspiration from a wide-ranging array of musical genres. Jazz, folk and rock all fuse together in the band’s original repertoire.
SHADE’s music is also set to convey an atmosphere reminiscent of the Scandinavian musical landscapes and the deriving mood is of gloomy nostalgia and alienation with a sour contrast of bright hopefulness.
Guitar is the protagonist in this music, with haunting arpeggi or rhythmically shifting riffs. But with the addition of the voice the focus turns towards the lyrical and verbal content of the melodies, adding up to the overall sound with strong conceptual significance.
The band’s playing main focus is on portraying a vibe of unpredictability and of high interplay, questioning the definition of groove and at the same time defying the dogmas of style and genre.
