Studied music at Tehran music school for six years as a classical violinist and vocalist, graduated at 2017. She performed in the biggest concert halls In Iran such as Vahdat hall, Roudaki hall, Milad tower hall both as a part of Tehran’s youth orchestra and a member of Iran’s philharmonic choir. She discovered her love for jazz music and composition after graduation Since arriving in the Netherlands, Delaram has been highly active on the Dutch and European music scenes. She has performed at major festivals in the Netherlands such as the North Sea Jazz Festival, Flamenco Biennale, November Music Festival, and Jazz Fest, as well as at international festivals across Europe, including the Münster International Jazz Festival and the London Jazz Festival and etc… In addition to their work as a bandleader, Delaram has been a member of Daniel García Diego’s Sextet, collaborated extensively with the Marmoucha Orchestra, and performed as part of Arin Keshishi’s Quintet. Their sound is eerie, psychedelic, and mysterious. MARUSKES composes music based on short stories (Bora Chung, Shirley Jackson), mythology, and films. Their current focus is movement, migration, and transformation, creating their own imaginary space. Live, the routes she takes can be different each time; improvisation draws on the current state of mind of both the artist and the audience.
