𖦹 on Friday 12th of June, mantle welcomes Dimeshift label boss Axle to @sneakypetesclub . As well as releasing on his own imprint, @axle_sound has released on the prolific SPE:C and has appeared on lineups from Tempa, HVYWGHT, Outlook, and Headset. In his own words, @dime.shift is inspired by ‘the melting pot of dark garage, dubstep and grime in the early 2000’s’, but his own sound and that of the label is undoubtedly current.
𖦹 also joining on 12.06 is Jemima from fhe Bible! As well as featuring on lineups for Kelburn, Sneaky Pete’s and EXIT, JFBT is one half of Scotland’s most remote clubnight @_baile_baile_ . This crew are pushing club culture in the Scottish highlands, throwing and appearing at parties from Dunkeld to Ullapool, encouraging an appreciation and learning of Gaelic as they go.

on april 10th @mantle_____ and @import.wav join forces to celebrate our first year of both parties. to honour the occasion we are inviting UK Dubstep royalty Joker!
The pioneering UK producer from Bristol was a key architect of the “purple sound” - a fusion of grime, dubstep, and funk-soaked synths that helped shape an entire wave of electronic music in the late 2000s.
@joker_kapsize reshaped dubstep with his signature blend of heavy sub-bass & glossy synth leads. His deep-coloured, melodic approach stood in bold contrast to the darker minimalism of early dubstep, earning him a cult status within the UK bass scene.

Origins resident Lola So is coming Scotland for the first time! With appearances at Fabric, Corsica, Razzmatazz and Renate, plus features on the 1Xtra airwaves, she brings a deep, commanding knowledge of club culture to every set she plays.
Wheelman is a name which should be familiar to dance music fans across the UK. The much loved Glasgow icon has played at festivals like Field Manoeuvres, has published mixes for Crack Magazine and Mixmag and has released his own tracks on Studio Barnhus, Belters and more.
Both DJs span genres and styles, with the through line of simply knowing what works.

With releases on Hyperdub, 4AD, his own Kapsize Recordings and a Skrillex collaboration - Joker has an extremely strong foundation of his own work to guide the sound of any set he plays. Expect colour, building pressure, and of course heavy bass in what is sure to be a masterclass in honing one’s sound.

His productions range from sunny house wafters to dubbed out percussive rollers, while his expertly crafted sets weave through styles and genres with the know how earned through over a decade of experience.

loved doing something more experimental for my @mantle_____ mix 𖦹
so much so, i wanted to give it another lil spotlight ~ i tried to put a lot of care into crafting a sonic journey from 70bpm to 150bpm, fusing ambient, dub + uk techno into dubstep, breaks + deconstructed club.

NIIX contributes the next instalment of earthed: mantle’s mix series 𖦹｡°‧
Manchester-born, Liverpool-adopted and now London-based NIIX (she/they) is carving out her own space in the UK’s underground club scene.
A self taught producer/vocalist, NIIX’s latest EP ‘mmotd’ on CDR (featuring a remix from Florentino), has been supported by BBC Introducing London, Rinse FM and Metal Magazine.
NIIX’s DJ sets are genre-fluid, blending anything from global club and bass through to breaks & uk techno. Her unmatched energy behind the decks has been seen at Keep Hush, Lemon Lounge and Boomtown Festival, alongside guest radio shows on NTS and Subtle Radio.
For their mantle:earthed mix, NIIX traverses from 70bpm to 150bpm, through a range of bassy, swampy + glitchy sounds, stretching the parameters of their usual club sets to include lesser heard favourites. This mix embodies their sexy & percussive signature style through a more experimental lens, including reflective, emotive moments fit for the turn of the year.

Co-founder of the @fastatwork imprint, with releases on @spec_records , @tempa.ltd & @woozy_dub , Carré is at the forefront of a new generation of artists creating future-minded dubstep, traversing leftfield techno and creating her own mutations of bass genres within the foundations of og dubstep.
We’d be remiss not to mention @carre__carre ’s role within a fresh cohort of names who are shifting the context of the genre away from a male dominated subculture, and contributing to a more inclusive and accessible culture within dubstep and bass.
