Maniko is a producer, keyboard player and DJ whoâs heavily involved in Londonâs Jazz scene. Sheâs been making waves on the festival scene, playing at We Out Here as well as playing alongside legends such as Deli Sosimi.

The morning opened with @jamie.a.adam at the helm of this monthâs @continentaljamselection , welcoming producer and pianist @maniko_02 to the breakfast table ahead of Natural Jazz at @tatecornerbar this Friday.
Framed by an expansive and considered jazz selection, the conversation unfolded as both reflection and projection, tracing Manikoâs musical journey while exploring the role of improvisation and live jam spaces in shaping a practice that moves fluidly between performance and production. The dialogue extended into the evolving jazz landscape of Newcastle, situating personal growth within a wider, community-led scene, before touching on forthcoming releases and ambitions still in motion.
