L’atelier vise à renforcer des liens en ouvrant des espaces d’expérimentation physique où la réappropriation de nos corps se fait au contact des un·es et des autres.  Lorsque des forces et des présences se rencontrent, des mécanismes inconscients de nos corps cherchent à s’y manifester : appréhension, confiance, résistance, protection, vulnérabilité, puissance… Comment faire face à l’imprévisibilité de nos corps ? Quelles formes de solidarité peuvent se créer là où nos corps résistent, se rattrapent ou chutent ensemble ? Quelles relations de soin reste-t-il à inventer dans ces zones de contact et de friction ? Est-ce que c’est jouable ? engage une démarche féministe intersectionnelle et inclusive, attentive aux corps et aux expériences qui nous traversent, dans nos manières d’être ensemble et de faire collectif. Dans une dynamique de co-apprentissage, sont transmises aux participant·e·x des techniques d’ancrage, d’écoute, de réception, de lâcher prise, (re)pousser… jusqu’à l’avènement d’un pogo.  Accompagnée en live par DJ Mandy Pixel, dans l’immanence d’un présent partagé, avec la joie comme principe actif, se célèbre - sans centre ni leadeur·euse - une invitation à la dépense, à l’engagement cathartique, où d’autres formes d’entraide et de résistance deviennent possibles. À la fin de la session, les participant·e·x sont invité·e·x à rejoindre un cercle de parole, un moment d’échange et de réflexion sur ce qui a été vécu par chacun·e·x dans la pratique. 📸 @melaniepeduzzi_bruxelles

Vagabonde tout-terrain, partant à l’aventure le ventre en feu. Poppy Whispers fait de la musique pour donner à joie et rage un espace immatériel. Inspirée par un large éventail de musique, elle cherche à échapper les genres, en rythmant d’interrogations notre condition présente. Lucile Strike documente les traces de lumière, les impulsions, les élans, les doutes. Thank you to everyone who attended, and to Suzanne and Jacob for their inspiring presence and dedication to the piece. 🪐 *** “The Waves (colors), performance” (2023—ongoing) is a performance in which readers recite a script compiling, in chronological order, the 675 colors mentioned in Virginia Woolf’s “The Waves.” Functioning as an enigmatic formula, the work evokes the colors that shape the events and relationships of a lifetime. For this special rendition, Fauconnier invited artist Suzanne Cleerdin to create a real-time sonic dialogue with the reading by Jacob Storer, using the experience of the character Susan as an entry point. Her silhouette and movements made barely visible behind a seemingly frosted or fogged window, Suzanne amplified sounds of natural and domestic objects, along with sentences drawn from the pages of the book. Her composition responded to, made space for, and sometimes took over Jacob’s voice, as he recited and chanted the colors in varying patterns and intensities. The performance was presented during the closing event of the trio exhibition “6815 MINUTES”, with @nienkebaeckelandt and @flpcollin

“The Waves (colors)” is a 3-page typewritten work by Maxime Fauconnier, compiling chronologically the 675 colors mentioned in Virginia Woolf’s “The Waves”, divided in sections corresponding to the nine chapters of the novel. Functioning as an enigmatic formula, the work dreams up the colors shaping the events and relationships of a lifetime. First presented in 2023 and adapted to each exhibition context, “The Waves (colors), performance” translates the typewritten work into a live experience. For the closing evening of 6815 MINUTES at SPASSS, Fauconnier invited artist Suzanne Cleerdin to create a real-time sonic composition in dialogue with performer Jacob Storer’s reading of the script. last july I graduated from KASK school of arts with my performance & publication "progress written in the stars" in the performance @shadi.alaiek & I slowly unfold the notion of western progress by visiting two airplane linked zones: we start of with a utopian vision of progress on Mars, and from here on we move down to earth, where it becomes clear that progress, in the shape of an airplane, is always proceeded by violence. The performance is based on a 2 years research that took place on two airplane related area’s. The first was in Steenokkerzeel, on the airplane spotters platform of Zaventem that is overlooked by two closed deportation centres. NEW LOCATION: RECYCLART We are thankful to @recyclartbxl to host us in their walls to welcome more people to our fundraiser. DJ ESTAFETTE FOR PALESTINE is a fundraiser to raise money and awareness in response to the ongoing genocide and ethnic cleansing in Gaza and the occupied West Bank. The event is part of a string of immediate worldwide initiatives of the @artists.against.apartheid movement ‘to carry, at first, an urgent call for an immediate and total ceasefire through Art and the mobilisation of all cultural actors and spaces’. The estafette will gather 14 DJs from Brussels, Paris and Amsterdam offering dynamic 20’ sets one after the other. In our circles, music is the most effective way to gather many people physically and symbolically. The event aims to collect materials funds to support the liberation of the Palestinian people, as well as to activate our collective EU-citizen political power. The goal is affluence: the public is expected to stream through the event all evening, donating money and signing petitions with the help of a team of volunteers.  As very few medical resources from humanitarian organizations are currently entering the siege, we are trying to identify other material help initiatives such as supporting Gazan families and individuals in Brussels and Brussels-based activism. The ground rules of AAA (ARTISTS AGAINST APARTHEID) are the following: 1. We rally until an immediate, permanent and total ceasefire is effective. 2. No hate will be tolerated : racism, sexism, ableism, queerphobia, islamophobia and antisemitism. This list is non exhaustive. 3. We are not affiliated with any political party nor state nor public institution. 4.
