This Project and Photo Series capturing Jami was shot in Los Angeles in November 2025. Following two months of shooting digital concert photography, this work marks a shift in both workflow and perspective.What began without a clear throughline beyond working with my new medium format Camera for the first time and the opportunity to try out negatives on the film scanner I built at home. I ended up finding a new workflow and new image style.
I learned Photography on a 35mm Slr skateboarding and shooting friends. That turned into a shooting friends with concepts, then test shoots with models, to editorial and commercial work. With the expectations to perform different tools are needed, and I felt very burnt out in Photography once it became a career, Shot film less because of quick turn arounds, stopped thinking of it as a fun past time. This Photo Series was a return to why I started with all the new additions of what I’ve picked up the past few years.
