Wanted to give this jacket a bit more love because I’m so happy with how it turned out and now I have multiple colours in the future sewing plans. I’d love a white one, and probably black, and maybe a goldy chartreuse colour 🤔
It’s based off a @fabricsstorecom Paola Workwear Jacket, but completely re-worked and loads of added details. Fabric is drill from @spotlightstores

Me Made May Day 15!
A bit of a different vibe for me today and I don’t know how I feel about it 😅 I’m maybe too used to wide leg jeans, and still trying to figure out how to style boots casually… I did intentionally wear these jeans though because after wearing this shopping with my bestie I headed straight to a photoshoot that required gum boots, and wide leg pants would have been a muddy disaster!! I did change into a more practical (also me made) top. Scroll to the end for a behind the scenes pic of muddy adventures.
This @fridaypatterncompany #saturdayskirtset top I made years ago and originally dyed it with avocado pits but it was uneven and went a weird brown, so this week I chucked it in a dye pot with some other stuff to make it more wearable.

A cold rainy day today, it was so hard to get motivated to be productive. I thought I’d wear my dumbo squid jumper about it. It’s fun, they’re water creatures. Also dubbed my squidapus jumper, since before being informed they were dumbo octopus I couldn’t decide if they were supposed to be squid or octopus 🦑🐙🤷🏼♀️

Worn with a @fridaypatterncompany #adrienneblouse in rayon jersey also from Spotlight! Funnily enough I wore this to Spotlight today! This top has seen quite a few Me Made Mays now, and it’s still going strong! It’s great for this autumn weather.

Well I wish I had a more exciting outfit to share, but the reality is pretty boring. Just another cropped T-shirt in some random ribbing I found at an op shop for like $1, (natural fibre of some sort, likely cotton) and my Helene jeans that are on repeat in a couple of different colours. Sigh. Me Made May highlighting my very non fancy life.
Only day 12 and I’ve worn variations of Helene Jeans 6 times (3 different pairs) and hacks of this Tshirt 7 times (7 different tops)😅😅😅
