@mainlandhouse is music collective and underground party on the Lagos Mainland pushing forward the city’s electronic music scene. From Powering global collaborations to spotlighting hidden talents, Mainland House connects the dots of Lagos’ underground soundscape through cultural exchange, events and workshops. Over the years Mainland House has curated unforgettable rave experiences and nurtured a thriving community of dance music lovers, cultivating a distinctive sound through their resident DJs and emerging DJ programmes. The VELOCITECH era has begun On Saturday May 16th, Mainland House Music teams up with @amahstudios to host the official album release party for King Nonso Duke’s debut project, “VELOCITECH”. Built around the pulse of AfroTech, melodic techno, GqomTech, Xaguatech, progressive and experimental electronic sounds, this night brings together a lineup shaping the future of electronic dance music from Lagos to the global underground. Expect a special B3B showcase from AfroTech ministers @kingnonsoduke , @being__proton , @ayanfe.ol , alongside solo journeys from: — Resident DJ @iam.marquay with soul lifting melodic & progressive techno textures. — Ivorian superstar @gemaemoone shapeshifting diverse pan-African electronic and global rhythms. — Fresh off his debut release “Iraq” @partyboydafe is set to deliver a high energy GqomTech driven masterclass. — @cold.sound aka Tech Kamba goes B2B with @mikewarhero as we get caught up in a raw experimental tech session bridging frequencies from African underground club culture and Strange House. Velocitech is a 12-track Afro-Tech hybrid album driven by velocity, rhythm, and atmospheric depth. King Nonso Duke (CODENAME:KND) fuses hypnotic percussion, dark melodic textures, sampling and forward-moving energy into a cohesive sonic system. Rooted in Lagos’ underground electronic scene, this project explores motion as both sound and experience.
