It’s been nearly a month since my first solo exhibition, SEE THE SOUND, with @mainlandhouse , @worldwide.fm & Studio Monkey Shoulder and I’m still in awe.
I can’t put into words how grateful I am for all the love, feedback, and support. STS marks the most defining moment of my creative journey so far, bringing to life a vision I’ve nurtured for years while documenting Lagos’ EDM and rave culture.
To think that I literally missed my own exhibition & the panel discussion because I had to go change into my Morpheus inspired outfit 🤭😩.
To everyone who’s already collected a piece of the work, thank you. And for those still deciding, the link to order is in my bio 😉.
Immense gratitude to those who made this process possible with me @ill_legal_tee@tobyijaware@kingnonsoduke@smooth.jnr@iredia.co@kadirigram@thelifeofblaq@the_ballington@visual_mastermind1@nathyjegs@magdalenamoursy@phoetini@francesco.martinuzzi@marley.gb@the.genuineravers
“For the past five years, I’ve had the privilege of documenting the remarkable rise of the EDM scene in Lagos, Nigeria. Witnessing the growth from a niche community to a thriving industry has been truly iconic. The recent feature by @mixmag is a testament to the scene’s maturity and its readiness for global recognition.
As the EDM ecosystem continues to evolve, it’s clear that intentional collaborations and behind-the-scenes efforts are crucial for its continued success. The more mainstream media and artists embrace electronic music, the more vibrant the underground scene becomes.
As a documenter and photographer, I’m committed to playing my part in pushing the culture forward. Through my lens and my work with @mainlandhouse and @afrotechng , I aim to showcase the energy and creativity of the Lagos EDM scene.
I’m excited to collaborate with fellow stakeholders who share my passion for the culture. Let’s work together to elevate the scene and bring its unique spirit to the world. And, of course, when it comes to capturing the essence of your music, let’s make it happen together - but only if I’m behind the lens!”
S/O @bloss.m for doing the lord’s work 🙏🏾🤝🏾🙌🏾🖤❤️
The Lagos rave scene is HOME so we showed @goat what’s happening @sweatitoutlagos

Special thanks to everyone in the scene, Jalyn, Nelson C.J & King for working with me on this!

Velocitech is a 12-track Afro-Tech hybrid album driven by velocity, rhythm, and atmospheric depth. King Nonso Duke (CODENAME:KND) fuses hypnotic percussion, dark melodic textures, sampling and forward-moving energy into a cohesive sonic system. Rooted in Lagos’ underground electronic scene, this project explores motion as both sound and experience. This debut album which features @fadejimii@callme_eenoo@ricky_lace is simply designed to move bodies, elevate consciousness, and push electronic dance music from Nigeria into a new terrain.
Out now on all streaming platforms, welcome to VELOCITECH!!!

Final day of @plus234art with @ecobank_nigeria & @sotogallery was on Sunday, and I’m still sitting with the experience.
Grateful to have shown two works from my What Really Is Love series — “Held In Silence” & “Where One Body Ends.”
Over the course of the fair, I watched strangers and friends (who instantly recognized my art🤭) slow down in front of these images, lean closer, talk quietly to each other, and sometimes just stand there for a moment. That exchange between the art and the viewer will always be the most important part for me.
Thank you to everyone who came through, spent time with the pieces, and shared their thoughts. Always beautiful seeing how many different ways people choose to interpret love and the best part is when they ask ‘is that a painting?’.
S/O to the curators for a job well done 🫶🏾
Happy Women’s Month 💕
For years my lens has followed the power, softness, rage, beauty, and brilliance of women.
Not to define them, but to honour them exactly as they are.
Wish Instagram had 100 slides 🥰
Far too many beautiful women in my archives.
To every woman who has stepped in front of my lens, thank you for trusting me to see you.
Grateful to be back here showing two pieces from my What Really Is Love project.
“Held In Silence” & “Where One Body Ends.”
Both pieces lean into this year’s theme of Inclusivity in the simplest way possible by showing what love actually looks like. Quiet. Intimate. Human. No rules. No boxes. Just connection.
The works are up for sale, and the art fair runs until Sunday, March 8. If you’re around, come experience them in person.

Over three days at the +234 Art Fair last year, I had the privilege of observing audiences encounter my work and a few others in real time; quietly, curiously, emotionally.
Each gaze carried its own narrative. Each pause, a personal translation.
Returning with deeper intention. Grateful as always.
