Better late than never..
“Spider-Man inspired Animatic”
Feels so good to finally been going face to face with my Fears. Some years back, I had to take a compulsory break from making 2D frame by frame Animations prior to the work load and the fact that it was taking a toll on my body. At that time I did all the work @__abstro_media__ creating commercial and visual content for clients back to back. (From the Animation, through cleanup, Coloring even till composition) and It was pretty hard to bring another animator to come on board cause of the urgency of projects, also genuinely i thought I could do it all alone.
Then one time I attempted to work an animated short film, I worked on it alone for two months and I was too traumatised by the results as the story was a total flop, immediately imposter syndrome kicked in then I gave up and had to accept that I wasn’t as equipped at that time.
I began doing research on why it went that way. Started relearning and practicing, I finished as many sketchbooks as I could and began my journey to film school. It was in this process I learned by how much I wasn’t aware about the value of collaborations and and the power of story-telling
Now this Animatic is a Warm up/ practice for me and it took me long enough to try again cause of the traumatic experience, but making this was so much easier than I could have thought of.
In a few days time me and a team of Equipped creatives would be working on our next Animated short film. I feel very positive about this one, because this time I’m much more equipped than I was Six years ago and I’m grateful to have the right people on my team. We are all ready to put in our my best to get the results we desire. Also thanks to @procreate Dreams for making their software super easy and seamless to explore For animation.

2025 came with quite a lot of Experiences and Experiments, And Taking My DEBUT Acting Role wasn’t one I saw coming At all..😂
But yeah it is what it is.. my one week at @pinklineacademy was a rollercoaster of events, I was there to actually tie the dots around Film Directing and Luckily my team and I were drafted to make this short-film ‘Detached’, I was Director and lead Actor for this short play and I was able to do this alongside the lead actress @winnys.gallery who was also Acting on screen for the first time. Due to a short timeframe and other projects we had to keep up with, we took line rehearsals like the morning of the shoot. And regardless of it all, we made Magic. Honestly I can’t wait to do this again and do it even better. 2026 sure has a bunch in stock. let’s get it!
