Today at Magic Carpet Studios, we had the pleasure of hosting Pelumi Nubi, Nigerian-British travel creator, storyteller, and the remarkable woman who drove solo from London to Lagos.
Her journey across Africa was more than a road trip. It was courage in motion. It was history, tourism, identity, resilience, and possibility packed into one unforgettable adventure.
Pelumi came by the studio as she continues work on her animated series, Lumi, and the energy she brought into the room was beautiful to witness. Warm, curious, alive, and deeply enthusiastic.
We took some amazing pictures, shared ideas, and felt that familiar creative electricity that happens when African stories are not just being discussed, they are being built.
