Back in 2020 when we were all locked down, I linked up with some cool ass Sacramento folks that were doing a producer challenge online. While I knew @djcantos1 from events in the past, we’d not hung out much until then. We quickly became close friends and I had the honor of releasing one of my first EPs on his record label @hmnimusic . 5 years ago almost to the day, was my first release Stutter Step and Push Me. Cantos saw my vision and I’m forever grateful, and I’ve always been a huge supporter of anything HMNI. While the last few years have pulled me away from my production work, I still DJ and play my friends’ music, including anything HMNI. And if you follow Cantos, you know he’s doing great things and making great music, pouring his heart into all that he does. So when he asked me to come out to sac and play vinyl with him for his Friday Jumpoff show at @legendhasithifi Legend Has It HiFi Bar, there was no question.
