Remember when my husband @trw_________ and I went on a cycling trip in Japan last year. There was a day when we were just exploring and discovered we could join a ride with the Circles @circles_jp@circlestokyo & SimWorks team. I felt welcomed, and those warm moments kept us connected with everyone even now. I’ll never forget how Kimura-san @kimuramasashi (the brand director) helped me send my Doppo Ronin frame. Those stories will never be forgotten because they marked the start of my bigger adventures afterward.
This is the beginning of my journey. I will explore the world perfectly because now we are fully supported by @simworks 💘. Thanks for welcoming us into the family! #betwenyouandme #swdoppo

📝✨ A fresh conversation from the road is now waiting on the @kolecycles blog. One of the things I love most about the bicycle is the way it connects people and stories from all over the world. For me, telling authentic stories of people who truly live the bicycle is one of the most beautiful parts of this journey. Not athletes chasing performance, but individuals who ride because the bike is part of their everyday life, their freedom, and their way of seeing the world. Today I’m happy to share a conversation with Morend, a young cyclist and blogger from the beautiful Indonesia. Like me, she enjoys documenting her rides and the simple beauty of moving through the world at a slower pace. Her approach to cycling is something I deeply appreciate: urban rides, slow cycling, and the quiet joy of exploring the streets and landscapes by bike.
“For me, ‘slow cycling’ is the way I can give my awareness on the path I ride. Where I can feel the world clearly, and find something which I didn’t notice before.” Morend

From an accidental ride to a long journey.
I still remember how it all started, just short rides between back to work, nothing serious. Then somehow it grew and turned those small rides into something bigger, something I didn’t fully understand at the time. There were too many moments I wanted to capture which naturally led me to ride my bike.
And now I find myself here again, on the road to Batu Karas.
I started the journey from Bandung to Tasikmalaya by train alone, bike beside me, feeling like I was about to begin something new but familiar at the same time. From Tasikmalaya, I rode 100 kilometers towards Batu Karas with 1,000 elevation gains, rolling roads, and bends that kept surprising me every few minutes. It was challenging, a little wild, but honestly… so much fun.
These are photos from that ride. Taken by my husband, @trw_________ .
And somehow, what began as just getting from point A to B became a way of coming back to myself—one road at a time.
